“Arabian Mountain Spice” is a Belly Dance Troupe out of Invermere and has been dancing since 2007 under the direction of Sadira.

“We are using this art form to express our femininity, our passion, connecting with our inner-self, feeling alive and confident in our body and celebrating the spiritual sisterhood. We love the music, the dance and the exercise that it provides.”

The Invermere Troupe enjoys performing at gatherings, celebrations, weddings, fundraisers and take the opportunity to educate the public about this ancient art form.

With influences from her past instructors, Sadira combines various dance styles. Her choreographies will reflect Egyptian Raqs, Modern Egyptian, Saidi, Moroccan, Spanish Flamenco as well as Tribal Fusion.
